Fogging principle

BRUMISTY by Climext offers the future of cooling, with a focus on well-being and ecology, while ensuring significant savings compared with other cooling systems.

Technologies are changing, as are attitudes. High-pressure misting is the ideal product for adapting to the future energy constraints of the next few years!

Types of misting:

Low pressure (10 bar)

Disadvantages:

  • Wetting effect
  • Droplet diffusion
  • Slow evaporation
  • Little refreshment

Medium pressure (40 bar)

Disadvantages:

  • Wet effect
  • Diffusion of fine drops
  • Rapid evaporation

Medium cooling

High pressure (60 bar)

Advantages – Strengths:

  • Dry effect
  • Diffusion of extremely fine drops
  • Instant evaporation
  • High, optimum cooling

To evaporate, water uses thermal energy; it consumes heat. This absorption of calories (600,000 Calories per litre of water) has the effect of lowering the temperature of the space in which this exchange takes place. All Climext foggers disperse micro-droplets of water in the order of 1 to 4 microns at high pressure (60 to 100 bar) into the area to be cooled, atomised by our stainless steel nozzles with a 0.1 to 0.8 mm diameter orifice, which evaporates instantly. This lowers the air temperature to 12°C.

The extremely fine micro-droplets of water from a Climext station mix instantly with the air. What’s more, all our misters are fitted with an anti-drip system. When the system is switched off, no residual water drops escape from the diffusion orifices..

The Tempo box, fitted with a double sequential timer, controls the Climext misting station and allows precise adjustment of mist distribution according to the space to be treated. The user’s desired cooling rate is obtained while managing a comfortable relative humidity level (40 to 65%).

The water expelled from our high-pressure nozzles is guaranteed to be free of bacteria, and you have the option of adding natural essences for health and well-being, supplied with the guarantee of ISO certification for our system.

Are your constraints technical? Regulatory? Financial? Climatic?

We have the solutions for you, thanks to our case-by-case expertise and the quality of Climext products; we’ll be able to improve the comfort of your employees and maximise your profitability.
